The Department of Emergency Medicine at Upstate has many current research activities, including serving as a primary research location for a number of national studies.  Additionally, laboratory space is available within the Department of Emergency Medicine. 
 

Our division of research provides guidance and assistance to help residents create successful academic projects and develop their physician-researcher skills. Residents can find assistance in IRB application, funding application, study instrument design, data collection, statistical analysis, reporting design, and interfacing with industry and governmental agencies.
